BICYCLE REPAIR SERVICES

For the rider that just needs a few adjustments and know a service technician has check over the bike for safety and wear and tear. We’ll check the nuts and bolts, perform minor adjustments to gears and brakes, air up your tires, lubricate the chain, and safety check your bike.

Full Tune up – $75

This usually covers most necessities. Everything the quick tune provides plus truing wheels, full adjustment and alignment of gears and derailleurs, headset and bottom bracket adjustments, cleaning and/or replacement of brake pads (plus $ for pads)

Comprehensive overhaul – $150:

This is for the rider that wants their bike to be like new: Everything in the Full Tune up plus new cables and housing, new headset bearings, new bottom bracket bearings and basically installation of anything else on the bike like tires, tubes, chain, pads.

Bike packing for shipment – $50 –$70:

After ten years of packing bikes we think we’re pretty good at it. We’ll use the right materials, pack it with care, and place it in the smallest possible box for shipment. Since we have experience with how shipping companies charge for oversize boxes, we think we can save you a bundle just by doing it right and without damage to your bike.

Building a bike from a box – $50 – $100:

Bought a bike on eBay or from far away? Have it shipped to us and we’ll build it right and for a great price.

Labor rate and our policies on service:

Bought parts elsewhere? No problem! We’ll install them for you. Our labor rate is a very reasonable $55/hr. And we don’t pack on an extra charge because you bought it elsewhere. We value your business however you bring it to us.

Turnaround time: We like to turn our service bikes in 3 – 5 days. Want it quicker? Usually no problem but you may have to endure a rush charge. Want to have your bike tuned up and leave it for the summer? No thanks! Please don’t forget about bike as we don’t really have the space for them. If we don’t hear from you in 30 days, we’ll have to charge you or donate them.
